Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Center and Cancer Care organized 20th Cancer Survivors Day at Maharana Pratap Auditorium on 12th Aug 2023. More than one thousand cancer survivors from different states of the country including Rajasthan, UP, MP participated in the program. Hon’ble Speaker Lok Sabha Shri Om Birla, the chief guest of this function, said that “To defeat cancer, it is important to identify it in its early stages and start treatment on time. For this, we are together in the Cancer awareness and screening campaign CANCER JAANCH AAPKE DWAR, started by Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital.” Dept Of Health, Additional Chief Secretary, Shubhra Singh, Guest of Honour of the program said that these survivors play an important role in clear the misconceptions spread about cancer in the society. On this occasion, Cancer Care’s patron Sunita Gehlot, Chairman of the hospital Navratan Kothari, Senior Vice Chairperson Anila Kothari, Managing Trustee Vimal Chand Surana, Vice Chairman Sanjay Kothari, Treasurer Trustee Dr Prem Singh Lodha, Executive Director Major General S C Pareek (retd), members of the hospital’s trust and many eminent personalities of the city were present.
