Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre and Cancer Care (Women Wing) celebrated 25 years of excellence on October 15th, 2022. The chief guest for the Silver Jubilee Celebration was Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, the Hon’ble Vice President of India. He appreciated the hospital for its service to society, excellence in cancer specialties, and for its world-class infrastructure. He Said, “While the creation of infrastructure is relatively easy, it takes quality human resources, the latest technology, credibility, and emotional commitment to provide wholesome care to cancer patients. And with all the human values and efforts, BMCHRC is doing the work of service. In the future, this hospital will be the number one cancer hospital not only in Rajasthan but in Asia”.
While addressing the event he expressed, “The most significant moment of my life in 2022 is to be here, at an institution that was nurtured by Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Ji, former Vice President of India”. He addressed Smt. Anila Kothari, (Sr. Vice Chairperson of the BMCHRC), saying, “She is the real power behind the board of trustees. And Shri Navratan Kothari (Chairman of the BMCHRC), saying, “He is a man of sublimity and nobility. He’s playing with a stacked bat on his front foot to help a social cause.”
