A helping aid was provided by SBI Life to the welfare project Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Cancer Mukti Yojana (CML-CMY) run by Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Center. Patients suffering from blood cancer (CML) are treated free of cost under this scheme. To extend his support to the scheme, Yogesh Sharma, Regional Director, SBI Life Insurance, Jaipur presented a check of Rs. 17.42 lakh to BMCHRC. Under the CML-CMY project, which started in August 2015, 258 patients are being screened and treated free of cost and all the patients are cancer-free. An amount of Rs. 1.29 crore has been spent on this project till December 2021.
