The 29th International Conference of Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPCON 2022), was a virtual conference held from Jaipur. Eminent and the brightest stars from the Palliative Care fraternity, both from India and beyond participated in the conference, held between Friday 11th to Sunday 13th February 2022. Pre-conference workshops were also organized on 10th February, 2022.
The conference offered a blend of both scientific and educational sessions, to cater to the needs of all audiences. Scientific Sessions included sessions on Covid-19 and Palliative Care, Interstitial lung disease, implementing evidence- based practice and a good death. Educational sessions covered sessions on difficult pain, sensitive conversations (such as communicating with children, talking about sexual issues etc.), teaching methodology and sustaining the palliative care workforce.
