A series of special programs are being organized by Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Center on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day. The purpose of the program is to create awareness among people about the ill effects of Tobacco. Under this campaign, a signature wall was placed at the hospital for general public to share a message to quit tobacco and defeat cancer. Free health check camps were also being organized at different places like malls, corporate houses, media institutes etc. Purpose of the activity was to detect cancer at early stage. A painting competition was also organized in this series of events to create awareness among masses to QUIT TOBACCO. Hon’ble Minister Shri Rajendra Singh Rathore felicitated the camp organizers and cancer survivors and also rewarded the winners of painting competition.
