Bhagwaan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre and Cancer Care (Women Wing), in association with the Inventive Helping Hand Society, organised a wig donation drive on September 23, 2022. As part of the programme, wigs were provided to patients who had lost their hair during cancer treatment. On this occasion, hair was donated to the Helping Hand Society on behalf of Cancer Care for the creation of wigs.
Mrs. Himanshi Gehlot, Director of Inventive Helping Hand Society, stated that customised wigs are made for cancer patients as part of the campaign.
On this occasion, Mrs. Anila Kothari, Chairperson, Cancer Care (Women Wing); and Shri Navratan Kothari, Chairman; Shri Vimal Chand Surana, Managing Trustee; Dr. Geetanjali Agarwal Joshi, Medical Director; and Cancer Care members were also present.
