Microbiology

The microbiology lab tests the samples coming into the laboratory for cultures and providing a solid diagnosis of the condition of our patients. Apart from this, the microbiology department also plays an important role in maintaining the sanitation levels of the hospital itself. This is done by performing regular environmental surveillance by air culture & swab culture of OT, MICU, SICU, CSSD and any ward by Settle Plate Method. The services of the Microbiology Department extend to performing regular qualitative water culture tests of IPD, OPD, and Water tank by Rapid PA Coliform Kit.
