OVERVIEW
The department is delivering precise treatment with the use of 3DCRT, IMRT, IGRT and Rapid Arc under the leadership of competent consultant and its efficient team. It has two Linear Accelerators and one HDR Brachy therapy machines.Treatment planning is done with customized immobilization device in a dedicated mould room, followed by imaging on wide bore CT scanner. PET scan based RT Planning is done whenever indicated.
A second phase is being planned to enable further expansion in the treatment capacity of the centre. This will involve installation of more Linear Accelerators with most modern Radiation Therapy Techniques including SRS, SRT, SBRT, Respiratory Gating and more.
