Preventive camps have been an extensive part of our outreach program at BMCHRC which allows us to detect cancer early in people of remote areas and make people aware about the deadly disease. The initiative so far has brought great results in people who reside in areas that not very well endowed with proper medical facilities.

Here are some quick facts about the program:

  • In the field of cancer awareness and its early detection, BMCHRC organize mobile unit camps in the distant remote and slum areas not only of Rajasthan state but also in neighboring states.

  • This initiative was started in 1999 & till date hospital has organized 1191 camps & screened 1,84,010 beneficiaries.

  • BMCHRC organizes, on an average, two camps in a week in which a team of General Physician, Oncologist, Gynecologist, ENT Specialist, Radiographer, Paramedical, & Nursing staff visits & screens patients in rural & urban areas.

  • BMCHRC also has Cancer Screening Mobile Van and Women Health Van – which is equipped with Mammography, X-ray Machine, Dark Room, Laboratory & Procedure Room and is being used widely for Cancer Screening & Early Detection.
