Babulaal Saini resident of Sanganer, Jaipur works as a laborer to fulfill the daily needs of his family. In 2005 after a painful period of 10 months, he was recommended to Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (BMCHRC) in Jaipur. Dr.Naresh Somani, Senior Consultant & HOD, Clinical Trials & Research Deptt. at BMCHRC diagnosed and found that Mr. Saini is suffering from cancer, Dr.Somani explained him about the type of cancer he was afflicted from and prescribed the treatment that helped him gain hope and confidence to beat the deadly disease. Mr. Saini underwent 24 months of treatment at BMCHRC and he said,“ the treatment was grueling but it made me stronger as a person and BMCHRC is boon for cancer patients in India”. Today Mr. Saini is cancer-free for more than seven years.
