Obstacles That Re-Erupt

Shuttling between hospital and home, our dearest Anjali has been battling Cancer for the past 6 years. She has since, stifled all her pain and discomfort without hampering her passion and natural talent for dance & music. “My daughter is an artist because she has mastered the art of concealing her pain beneath her smile’, beams a proud mother. A wonderful child, she only has a lot of love to give to everyone who visits her. Her never-say-die attitude will give you a reality check.

It was only 6 years back that then ‘baby Anjali’ had been complaining of throbbing pain and after a series of test, was diagnosed with blood cancer. 5 years after, she was completely cured and she resumed leading a normal life once again. But who knew this cure was going to last only for a year. It was not very long that Anjali started suffering once again. Her cancer relapsed. “It came as a shocker to us”, says her mother who is at loss for words to talk any further. Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre came to her rescue this time, she claims. Timely care, prompt services and a positive environment worked well for Anjali.

Despite the several needles that are constantly injected into her body, she never fails to smile, dance or stay happy. Her patience and amiable nature makes her a favorite amongst all others at the ward. Such is the daring spirit of this beautiful child whose penchant for dancing will make you want to see her sway!
