Tumor Board

Tumor Board is multidisciplinary approach towards cancer management. A panel of experts which includes Surgical Oncologist, Medical Oncologist, Radiation Oncologist, Radiologist and Pathologist gather on every Saturday to review difficult cancer cases. Tumor board discussion helps to improve quality of cancer care, provides educational opportunities for participants and become an asset to the hospital and to the community. It ensures that the cancer patient has access to the best possible treatment under guidance of experts. This structure provides the individual practitioner and his hospital with educational, quality assurance and legal mechanism to deliver state- of – the- art- care.
